Greystones is responsible for tracking and maintaining aircraft for the South African state agencies, as well as for those used in private industry.

 

Our AMO services, the police departments across the country, industrial crop sprayers and other similar aircraft. We maintain the fuel systems for Rolls Royce and for Pratt and Whitney turbine engines. We have contracts to handle aircraft for the police services operating out of Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and Nelspruit, South Africa. We are one of only 4 active Rotor craft Airframe Maintenance companies in South Africa. We are responsible and liable for all repairs as to the structural frame of the craft, electronic instrumentation, fuel systems and engines.

 

In South Africa we are certified by the South African Civil Aviation Authority as well as the US FAA. The latter certification has been obtained specifically for the work to be performed in the U.S. Please see below for more information about the company's U.S. facility.

 

Greystones Aviation Components (Pty) Ltd are experienced and able to maintain all Honeywell fuel and engine governor systems. Honeywell Aerospace makes fuel systems for small aircraft and Helicopters - for engines up to a capacity of 1,000 horse power.

 

This covers turbo prop planes, crop sprayers, and turbine engines for helicopters up to 7 Seaters, and emergency medical services (EMS) aircraft. Greystones also handles the warranty and repair for certain of South Africa Air Force training aircraft.
